Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell

BARCELONA - NOT TAKING PLACE

20 - 26 APRIL 2020

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell is one of the most important events in Spanish tennis. The tournament has been held on the clay courts of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899 since 1953. 2018 saw the King of Clay - Rafael Nadal - capture a staggering 11th Barcelona crown, overcoming 19-year-old Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final. But the Spaniard was unable to defend his crown, he was beaten in the final-four by eventual winner Dominic Thiem. Due to the global outbreak of COVID-19, this year’s tournament will not proceed as scheduled.
